The sun came back out today after yesterday's thunder and lightning display and the fish were biting. We had all 4 boats out again today and everybody put up some good, solid counts. The overnight boats got into those nice quality rockfish and lingcod while the full day boats got the sheephead and whitefish to play, too.

Stormy Saturday in Ventura

The day started off pretty nice but the clouds moved in quick! We had all 4 boats out today, the Amigo and Pacific Dawn on overnights and the Island Spirit and Pacific Eagle out on full day trips. It's heating up

It's not just the water that's heating up here at Ventura Sportfishing. The counts say it all, we have white seabass, yellowtail and barracuda to go with the rockfish, lingcod and sheephead.
