Water temperature is 77F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers are still boiling bit it has slowed down a bit. Most the boils have been in the mornings. The bait bite for the stripers has been fair. The largemouth bass have been biting on plastics in 5 to 30 ft. The catfish bite is good with some good ones being caught in the last week.

Catfish: Good
Crappie: Poor
Redear: Poor

The temperature was 75F. Fishing at Castaic is good. The stripers boils have slowed a bit, but seems like it might be picked up. The bait bite for the stripers has been fair. Fishing at Castaic was very good. The stripers have started boiling very good. Most of the fish have been caught at the ski arm bouy line. Top water and small kastmasters are working best. Guys are still catching stripers on bait. Sardines and lugworms are working best in 50 to 75 ft deep. The largemouth bass are boiling on baby shad all day.
