Excel Finds Wahoo In 1.5 Day Range

Capt Justin checked in from the Excel last night to let us know they had fished Cedros Island the last couple days, we had one good bite with the Yellowtail which lasted until dark. We also had 1 Black Seabass that was successfully released. We also got 1 Wahoo at the islands and also lost one. We were in the local 1.5 day zone and only found one kelp that was holding and to our surprise we got a Wahoo off the kelp and also lost one. Good news for the local fleet as the Wahoo are moving on up the line. We will be in on Thursday and turn around and hopefully do it again.

Capt Justin checked in from the Excel as they are on their 8 day Gallagher trip, we had to stay along the beach to avoid tropical storm Kevin. We have had pretty good fishing along the way for Yellowtail, Yellowfin and some Wahoo at the ridge. We are headed to the rocks right now and everyone is primed and ready to fish the rocks.
