Amigo Has A Great Day With Over 100 Yellowfin

Capt Bill Cavanaugh checked in from the Amigo to let us know that they are on day 2 of a charter and fished for Yellowfin Tuna and we had a really good day. We ended the day with over 100 Yellowfin Tuna and the fish are within range of 1.5 day trips from Ventura. We are currently at one of the islands fishing for Yellowtail and have a few on board so far this morning. We do have a trip scheduled to depart Monday night for a 1.5 day trip with some spots available, to get on the trip give the landing a call at 805-676-3474 and talk to Ed or Mark. You can also reserve a spot by going to our website at www.venturasportfishing.com. We have some really good bait on board and the weather forecast is looking really good.

Capt Bill Cavanaugh from the Amigo checked in as they headed home from their overnight trip and had a very good day on the water. We ended with 62 Yellowfin Tuna of the nicer grade and 27 Skipjack Tuna. Most of the fish were in the 15 to 15 lb range, with a couple more goping slightly over 30 lbs.
