The water temperature is 74-76 degrees. Water level is still low, be careful over in the east end due to some areas are shallow.
Striper: Medium Action: Striper boils early morning hours over by the dam, using cut mackerels, shad, spooks and chicken livers.
Blue Gill: Slow Action: This week there has been reports of Blue Gill over at the marina using meal worms and wax worms.
Catfish: High Action: This week there has been plenty of cats being caught over at ramp 2 and also ramp 1, coves and catfish alley, hitting on chicken livers and mackerels.
Large Mouth: Medium Action: Largemouth bass are over on the north shore and across from the marina and top water, try catching them on meal worms, wax worms and night crawlers.
Trout: No action...
Carp: Slow Action: Easy To Catch! Come and get them, teach the kids a new challenge. Stop by the camp store or marina and share your fishing stories with us and get a picture taken so we can post it on FB.
Catch and release is a great thing to practice to insure the species a healthy abundant environment to keep on producing for many more years of fun here.
