Texas Fish Report

Fishing in the Willow Beach area has been slow for both shore anglers and boaters in recent days. Those catching stocked trout have been casting spinners and flies near the hatchery outflow. Boaters have been using shad patterns to reel in small stripers. Anglers casting large plugs and swimbaits are coming in empty handed. Near Cottonwood Cove stillfishing with cut bait and trolling have been productive. Shad are active. A trout plant is scheduled for today at Cottonwood Cove, Aztec Wash and Placer Cove.
