Capt Jay checked in from the Ultra with an update, we are havind a great time Calico Bass fishing, we are getting them on sardines, surface irons and stripped mackerel on a leadhead. We also have quite a few Rockfish in the bags also, if your coming out with us make sure to have some 1//, 2/0 and 3/0 hooks along with your surface irons. We have had a shot at some Yellowtail earlier and got a couple, and will give them another try here shortly. We have open party departing on Wednesday night fishing Thursday, come on out and have some fun. Capt Jacob checked in from the Ultra to give us theit update for todays efforts, we ended with 16 Yellowtail, 20 plus Calico Bass and plenty of Rockfish. If your coming out bring size 4 hooks as we are using anchovies and they bit pretty good on the flylined baits. The also bit really well on the natural colored surface irons, especially dark green.
