Captain Justin Fleck called in this afternoon with an update from the Big X. We departed yesterday on our 5 day Malibu Fish n Tackle trip. We got a great load of bait. We have seen some nice Kelps and a few pods of Common Dolphins. We finally got a jig strike a bit ago and it was a small Yellowfin Tuna that we will cut up and put in the galley for sushi.

We are now headed towards to islands to try out luck on Yellowtail.

Good Grade Yellows

Hello anglers, Today we fished a spot up along the coast. It worked out very well for the good grade yellows. First thing in the morning it was fast paced non stop action. After about a hour it slowed to a pick. 1-2 at a time. After a few hours it was time to start heading home. We will be at Fishermans Landing tomorrow at 0630 in the morning. See you there....... Long Day

Hello angLers, Today we fished offshore. We were able to find plenty of kelps but most of witch had juvenile yellowtail on them. We did find one late in the day witch had a handfull of .larger y.t. on it. We also scratched up a dozen yellowfin tuna. The weather is epic. We will be working up the line tonight.
