Capt Jeff Bunde checked in from the Island Spirit with todays report for the day, we found lots of signs around. We had a lot of casualties this morning as we ran into the larger grade Yellowtail from 25 to 35 lbs and our anglers were not quite prepared for them. We ended the day with 15 Yellowtail and 25 Calico and a few miscellaneous fish. Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July. We will check back in again tomorrow.

Capt Jeff Bunde checked in from the Island Spirit out of Ventura Sportfishing to report that they had decent Yellowtail fishing this morning and ended with 19 for the day. The were biting the surface iron this mornung, the smaller ones seemed to work the best, we did have a few casualties but not too bad. In the afternoon we went out for some decent rockfishing to top off the bags, the water temps are on the rise...... Read More
