Texas Fish Report

Good morning folks. The phone has been down and reports were not able to get out. There really has not been much to report on this end. We started out on the beach, with the New moon we were hoping for good sign and responding fish, not the case 4 fish on the anchor, one nice fish around 230 pounds another at 150 and a couple of smaller grade. Before lunch we pulled the anchor and proceeded to drive around the rest of the day. Very little sign with no bite.

We left Clarion yesterday with even worse results. Although the Inspection at the camp went well the fishing did not. No sign off the island with the exception of a few single fish marks on Black porpoise. With the bird sign close to the island it looked as if all the fish were up tight to the beach. But who knows . I wouldn't write it off we had very good fish last year in the Buffer zone so maybe after this moon phase.

Out to the bank we go. We will be there this morning at 830 and hopeful after miles of leg work start our trip.
