We departed Saturday January 19, 2008 on the 15 Day Mustad Hooks and Bluewater Tackle/ San Diego Fly Shops sponsored trip. Our bait looks very good and we are traveling down the coast in extremely good weather. This is a very good group of anglers and we are all hoping for good timing and continued good weather for the next two weeks, time will tell.
We had our safety talk once we departed San Diego and our first seminar covering jackpot rules, trolling rotations, kite and balloon fishing on Sunday morning. We also gave a tackle bag to each guest with Mustad products including mustad activate, hoodlum ringed hooks, demond circle hooks and assortment of sizes of 7691 forged hooks, also the 16/0, 18/0, 20/0 circle hooks for fishing squid under the kite. More raffle prizes by multiple sponsors will be given out in the next few days on the ride south that I will mention in the next few posts.
We want to thank Mustad and Bluewater Tackle for their incredible generosity this trip with all the giveaway's and raffle product for this great group of fisherman. We will report in again tomorrow as we continue our transit down the Baja coast.
