Captain Justin Fleck checked in with an audio update from the Excel out of Fisherman's Landing in San Diego, CA. We are currently on our Family 3 Day trip. We have a bunch of kids with some new faces. We fished down the beach with good conditions and weather. We caught 100 Yellowtail (12 to 25 pound). We has also caught some Bass, Lingcod, Reds, Chuckleheads and other assorted Rockfish.

Let's just say eveyone is having fun Yanking and Cranking on the Big X.

Wrapping it up

Hello anglers, For the last couple of days we've been fishing offshore for yellowfin tuna. It's been hit or miss, with plenty of fish to look at only a few of the schools would bite. We ended up with a handfull of tuna and a dozen yellows off kelps and even a couple Dorado it the mix. We will be at Fishermans Landing tomorrow at 0630. See you there. ...... Read More

All Day Action

Hello anglers, Today was a little different. There was no sign of wahoo but the yellows started biting first thing this morning. We were able to pick away at them for most of the day.
