Captain Jeff Bunde checked in this evening with an update from the Island Spirit out of Ventura Sportfishing in Ventura, CA. Today we had good Yellowail fishing in flat calm weather. The fish averaged between 25 and 40 pounds. They were biting the heavy line again today. We will be searching for them again tomorrow.
