Captain Tino Valentine checked in this afternoon with an update from the Freedom out of 22nd Street Landing in San Pedro, CA. We had a tough day today. We went 17 for 40 on the hookups. We lost a lot of fish to Sea Lions, the bottom and bad tackle. Bring your heavy outfits.
FISH COUNT: 17 Yellowtail, 14 Bonito, 5 Barracuda, 11 Sheephead and 77 Rockfish.

10-7-2016Captain Tino Valentine called in this afternoon with an update from the Freedom. The Yellowtail fishing took a dive today. The water has turned green. The water temps are dropping. We did catch a couple Yellowtail. Since conditions have changed we switched over to deep water action. We caught 205 Rockfish, 46 Lingcod, 7 Sheephead, 5 Whitefish and 14 Cabezon.
