Texas Fish Report

Malechi Checkley, 3, of Rio Rancho caught his first fish, a 17-inch channel catfish Oct. 11. He was fishing the Central Pond and using a hotdog. Siblings Nadia Marez, 11, and Jack Byers, 9, of Los Lunas caught limits of trout within an hour at the Youth Pond Oct. 16. They were using white power eggs.
