Captain Justin Fleck called in with an update from the Excel out of Fisherman's Landing in San Diego, CA. We are currently on our Colonello 10 Day trip. We started the trip down the beach catching Yellowtail. We had a good time yanking and cranking. We then moved down to Ridge and had good fishing for school sized tuna. We are currently looking for Wahoo right now in flat calm weather.

Yellowtail Report

Hello anglers, For the last couple of days we've been scratchin away at yellowfin tuna and wahoo. Today we tried our hand at some yellowtail fishing. The morning started off hot and heavy with several good grade yt coming over the rail. It slowed down mid morning to a pick (one at a time). Then around lunch it was over.
