Fishing at Castaic is fair right now. Guys are still catching good size stripers in the morning with spoons and ice jigs in 40 to 60 ft., swim baits are working for bigger stripers. The largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing has been picking up. Most bass are being caught on spoons, ice jigs and small plastics in 20 to 40ft.The catfish bite has been slow. We should be receiving a trout plant this week at the main ramp.

The striper fishing at Castaic is fair right now.Striper boils have been spotty in the mornings. Most the boils are in the fish arm.The largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing has been fair. Most largemouth have been caught on plastics in 15 to 30ft.We will be recieving a trout plant this week.Stripers bhave been eating swimbaits pretty good so far this year. ...... Read More
