Bass fishing at Castaic is very good.Most bass are being caught on senkos and roboworms in 5 to 15ft.The striper fishing has been slow.A few stripers have been caught on cutbait and nightcrawlers in 40 to 75ft.Catfish and bluegil are slow.

Largemouth and smallmouth bass are wide open at Castaic.Plastic worms and creature baits fished in 2 to 15ft are working best.Jerkbaits and flukes are also working good.The bluegil are starting to bite in shallow bushes on wax worms and meal worms.The striper fishing has been slow.Catfish has been slow. Fishing at Castaic is picking up.The water level at Castaic is above 90 %.The largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing is good.The bass are getting ready to spawn and moving shallow.Most bass are being caught on plastic worms like roboworms and senkos and on night crawlers in 5 to 20 ft.
