The water temperature is 69 degrees, water level is up a few feet. Striper: Medium Action: Striper can be caught over in the coves by Launch Ramp 2 and by the Inlet. Various types of bait have been used, mostly cut baits. Also try night crawlers and chicken liver. Blue Gill: Slow Action: Blue Gill have been spawning in the shallow waters. Try using plastic worms, wax worms and live crickets over near Launch Ramp 1 across from the Marina. Carp: Medium Action: Plenty of big fat carp ready to catch. Nightcrawlers have been working best, along the banks.
