Captain Tino Valentine called in with an audio wrap-up from the Freedom out of 22nd Street Landing in San Pedro, CA. We had scratchy fishing again today. The water temps are still cold. We went 3 for 6 on the Yellowtail (up to 30 pounds). We hooked a couple White Seabags but the Sea Lions ate them.
We had decent Calico Bass fishing. We had 7 legals up to 5 pounds. We also had a bunch of shorts. Then we finished the day with some rock fishing. We caught 23 Sheephead, 16 Red Snapper, 109 Whitefish and 116 Rockfish.
We are back at it tonight and we will be checking out a new area.
