Capt Jeff checked in from the Freedom as they returned from an overnight trip, the fishing was fantastic today. We ended the day with 37 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Yellowfin Tuna, the grade was from 40 - 50 lbs. We did run into some of the larger grade Bluefin but we unable to pt any on the decks. Most if these fish were caught on the flylined sardines and a couple on the jigs, line size was 20 - 30 lbs but heavier rig are still recommended. Capt Tino checked in from the Freedom with a final count for todays trip and ended with 26 Bluefin Tuna, 4 yellowtail, 3 Bonito, 9 Sheephead and a bunch oh Rockfish. Capt Tino checked in from the Freedom as we return from a charter and had a very good day of fishing. We started offshore and managed 12 Bluefin Tuna and had a 50 lber and 90 lber that were caught on spinning rods and man were those some battles on 25lb line.
