The Tackle Box Café is on vacation until Friday October 27th!! Also, The Swim Pond has closed for the season after the Holiday weekend, and will reopen again in May! The Catfish and Bass bites are still holding strong. Lots of Catfish in the 15lb+ range coming in from the Carson Arm and the coves around the RV Park. Chicken Liver, Mackerel, and Anchovies work well, even Night Crawlers have been catching smaller Catfish. Bass have been hitting well in the back of the lake off of the rocky points near the mouth of Jackson Creek. Plastic Worms and Crank Baits seem to be working best. Lake AmadorOur annual Moonlighter Team Bass Tournament was a success with the winning team having a total of 34.12lbs and Big Fish weighing 9.36lbs!! Everything is loving the warm weather except for the Trout. Plastics and Crankbaits are working well. Crappie Jigs and worms are doing good for Crappie and Bluegill.
