Captain Tino Valentine called in this afternoon with an audio update from the Freedom out of 22nd Street Landing in San Pedro, CA. We started our day fishing on the anchor for Yellowtail and we caught a few. Then we tried offshore for Bluefin Tuna. But that did not work out too well. So we finished up at the island.
We ended up with 15 Yellowtail (up to 25 pounds), 4 Bluefin Tuna (up to 30 pounds) and a handful of Calico Bass.
We have a 1.5 day trip departing tonight. We only have 10 reservations (as of 4 PM). We are a definite go!

9-27-2017Capt Jeff checked in from the Freedom out of 22nd Street Landing and reported that they had beautiful weather and and great fishing today. They ended the day with 88 slug Yellowtail, they ranged in size from 15 to 30 lbs with most in the 20 to 25 lb range.
