The boat returned this morning early from the first 8 day trip of the season. Despite the tough weather, everyone had limits of Yellowtail, 20 Bluefin, 7 Albacore and a Yellowfin.
The Yellowtail were beautiful and they were cookie cutters from 34 - 36 pounds, in fact three in a row weighed in at perfect 34.6lbers... Thanks to Brad of Sport Chalet for sponsoring the trip and thanks to all of our wonderful passengers - we appreciate you! Check out jackpot winners above and then a few trip pictures:
Jackpot winners:1st place: Dennis Saylors 37.6 lbs Yellowtail
2nd place: John D'Ornellas 37.0 lbs Yellowtail
3rd place: Dan Spiegel 36.6 lbs Bluefin Tuna
The boat departed @ 11:30am with the Catchy Tackle Gang. It was great to see everyone and meet the new guys. For this upcoming trip, fortunately for everyone out in webworld - the email modem on board is back in business, so no more lame land line reports. Check back tomorrow night and see what's going on.
