Fishing at Castaic is very good. The stripers and largemouth bass are boiling good. Topwater and other shad pattern lures are working best. The back of coves is starting to be the best spots for boils. Catfish and bluegill are slowing down. We should be receiving our first trout plant of the year soon.

Fishing is very good. The stripers and bass are boiling on shad. Topwater and other shad pattern lures are working best. The average size striper is 61b. Fishing at Castaic is very good. The stripers are boiling good. Topwater and other shad pattern lures are working best. The largemouth and smallmouth bass are boiling good. Coves have been the best for largemouth and smallmouth bass. The catfish has been slow.
