The 1st day of the Halibut Tournament went well! We had 1 keeper Halibut at 7.75 pounds and 5 released. We also 18 Sandbass, 8 Calico Bass,10 Yellowtail and 14 Sculpin. Capt Jason said it went well but would of liked a little more wind to help the dirft. He noted that all of the anglers did enjoy themselves. Next Wednesday will be the trip for the Halibut Tournament,

The Dolphin AM returned this afternoon with 115 Yellowtail!
The Dolphin PM returned this evening with 10 Calico Bass, 37 Sandbass and 25 Sculpin!
The Dolphin will return Yellowtail fishing on Thursday morning and Wednesday will be fishing for Halibut!
The Royal Star just called in with 35 Bluefin tuna, 40 to 65 pounds. These fish are with in 1.5 day range. The boats on the 60 mile bank started to catch Bluefin again today. Boats reported limit style fishing and these fish were 15 to 25 pounds.
Join us for our first ever Halibut Tournament aboard the Dolphin ! The competition will run every Wednesday from Jan 3rd - Feb 28th and will replace normal 1/2 day trips on that day. The ticket cost will be $52.00 & $10.00 from every ticket goes into the jackpot!
