Fishing picked up here early in the week, with most of the biters coming out of 60' of water. Drop shotting and jigs accounted for most of the deep water action. There were a lot of fish visually sighted on the bank, but these bass were reluctant to chew. Perhaps looking for areas to bed? Panfish and catfish went unreported to the concession last week.

WEEK ENDING: 1-21-18 WATER TEMPERATURE: 59 Fishing picked up here early in the week, with most of the biters coming out of 60' of water. WEEK ENDING: 1-15-18 WATER TEMPERATURE: 59 The bass bite showed some improvement over the last week, as most anglers were able to score a few for their efforts. Drop shotting down to 60' of water accounted for most of the fish, although there still are some largemouth on the bank taking reaction baits such as rip baits, and swimbaits.
