Alright, we are almost full with only over a foot left to go!! And with all this rain coming this week we might be spilling. Water clarity is still good, with only slight debris by the dam area; though could change depending on the amount of rain this week. Trout fishing has been great these past two weeks. Trout are in the top 3-10ft and from reports, everywhere in between. PowerBait, Power Eggs, Micetails, Night Crawlers, and Trolling with Broken Back Rapalas are still the go to fishing baits. Lake AmadorHopefully all this weather in the forecast the lake level will rise significantly. We stocked 1,200lbs on Friday 2/23, with more plants coming this week. We will be receiving more Lightning Trout in the near future! Trout have been about 10-12ft deep but normally during and after storms they come to the surface in search of food, it remains to be seen.
