Cats are on the bite, coming in on chicken liver and mackerel at the inlet and dam as well as off the shore near ramp #2. Stripers are schooling around the inlet and marina and are hitting anchovies for the most part early morning and late afternoon. Bass and gills are hitting, however it is a bit of a hunt for them. Look for them off of points in the East End and South Shore. Gills near the weeds and reeds. For more information please contact the Marina at (951)-926-1505

The catfish are in a frenzy this week! Shore fisherman and boating anglers are reporting specimens up to 14 lbs on a variety of bait from nightcrawlers to chicken livers. Very hot conditions have brought out the catfish. They are hitting on at variety of baits most prolifically at Launch Ramp E. The Largemouth baits are being reported by boating anglers on plains and nightcrawlers.
