Happy Memorial Weekend! The water temperature is 68-69degrees. Water level is steady. Our Annual Balloon & Wine Festival is next weekend June 1st-June 3rd, 2018. Remember... Fishing will be closed down for 3 days and will resume normal business hours June 4', 2018! Fishing Report similar to last week.. Next Stock of Catfish will be June 8th, 2018, 400 pounds. Striper: Medium Action: Deep out by the inlet and dam. Hitting on chicken livers and mackerel, also try umbrella rigs and trolling. Blue Gill: Medium Action: Red worms, wax worms and plastic worms any small worm with jigs...live crickets have also been working well in coves and reeds, also over by the East End and across from the Marina. Catfish: Medium Action: Catfish can be caught on the left side of the dam, also over near Launch Ramp 2 using mackerels dipped in garlic. Last Stock of Catfish was May 25th, 2018, 400 pounds. Large Mouth: Medium Action: Roboworms have been doing the trick in green and purples over in Catfish cove over at Launch Ramp 2. Trout: No Action. Carp: Slow Action: Use your favorite carp dough balls, along the banks or under heavy cover. Stop by the camp store or marina and share your fishing stories with us and get a picture taken so we can post it on FB.
