Good morning folks. Yesterday we were surprised with a nice afternoon on jumbo size yellows. A little hit in the morning on smaller fish and then an eruption of bigger fish in the afternoon. Not big numbers, 35 for the afternoon but when you get one of these 30 to 45 pound yellows it is well worth it.

This morning we had a similar show and picked up 30 jumbo yellows and now it is dead. Hopefully we get another shot this afternoon before we head up to finish offshore.

We will report again tommorow.

Good evening folks. We left the rocks after lunch and another nice day of fishing. We kept 37 tuna from 30 to 90 pounds and a bunch of releases on the smaller grade. No wahoo today on our way out and really no sign. No bite offs or short bites. Most of the bigger fish today came from squid whether it be fly line or kite or on the balloon. Good evening folks. We arrived at the rocks yesterday after lunch and commenced excellent action on 15 to 22 pound tuna . We started to get a few better fish from 50 to 90 pounds ending the evening with 7 of the better grade tuna. Bait fishing went well with a supply of squid for the next day.
