Today we had our annual Kubo memorial trip for a dear friend (like a brother to me). We had a bunch of wind but with hardly any swell or wind chop which made for a nice day considering everyone was from Sacramento north and been dealing with 100+ degree weather all summer. We ended our day with 15 halibut to 14 pounds and 25 striped bass to 10 pounds for our 21 friends and families. We’ll be back fishing the coast tomorrow due to the brisk onshore breeze.
