Carl Schmidt from Fisherman's Landing checked in with a mid-day report. Condor is reporting 60+ Yellowfin Tuna on board.  Other boats in the area having success on the Yellowfin bite too. 

We have been waiting all some for the Yellowfin bite to take off.  Only about 5-6 trips left this month.   Trips are filling up fast, weather is beautiful right now.  September is usually are best fishing.  Call Fisherman's Landing (619)221-8500  Bring your heavy gear for the trophy Bluefin and light gear for the Yellowfin on the 1.5 and 2.5 day trips.

August 16th, 2018 The Liberty called in with 50+ Yellowtail and still fishing. The Pegasus called in with 40+ Yellowfin Tuna and great weather. The Condor called in at 3:30 PM with 80+ Yellowfin Tuna and fish hanging! August 15th, 2018 The Liberty caught 108 Yellowtail, 1 Bluefin Tuna, 5 Calico Bass, and 4 Bonito for 38 anglers on their Full Day trip.  The Dolphin PM caught 48 Calico Bass, 17 Barracuda, 20 Bonito, 12 Sand Bass, 4 Rock Fish, and 13 Sheephead for 27 anglers. The Dolphin AM caught 16 Sand Bass, 18 Rock Fish, and 1 Yellowtail for 32 anglers.
