Blue Gill: Slow Action: Blue Gill bite has been very slow the past few weeks. The bait of choice would be red worm, meal worms and of course wax worms. Catfish: High Action: Last Stock of Catfish was August 17th, 2018, 400 pounds. Cats are pretty much throughout the lake, caught hitting on chicken livers, mackerels, garlic shrimp, and anchovies over in the Ramp 2 area and Coves are best. Large Mouth: Slow Action: Largemouth bass are have been seen over on the North Shore lurking in the reeds and around Launch Ramp 1. Try catching using night crawlers. Trout: No Action.
