The water temperature is 77 degrees. Water level has dropped a few feet. Catfish have been stocked every other week since May and will be coming to an end this month. The last Stock of Catfish will be ending September 28th, 2018, 400 pounds. Trout season will be here soon. Striper: Medium Action: Anglers are catching them trolling with umbrella rigs in deep waters. Catfish: High Action: Going strong, they are everywhere.
Some nice big ones are being caught on chicken livers, night crawlers, anchovies and hitting just about anywhere, but East End best. Large Mouth Bass: Medium action over in the tullies and reed beds hitting on roboworms, sinkos, and frogs. Try top water lures early in the morning. Bite will get better as water continues to cool. Blue Gill: Low Action: Anglers catching them at the East End on slab jiggies, wax worms and meal worms. Trout: No Action.
