Dorado on 1/2 day! Patriot fishing offshore on 3/4 days for Dorado/Yellowtail/Tuna.
Pretty crazy fishing with the Nautilus catching a dorado on the morning 1/2 day trip this morning. The dorado was at least 20 pounds. The Patriot will be going offshore exclusively for Tuesday for sure and tenatively for the remainder of this week. They shot offshore for a bit while on the way down to fish for yellowtail down south and came across several paddies holding lots of dorado hooking several and losing them (haven't heard how they were doing on the yellowtail). Capt John thought with more time dedicated to fishing offshore it should be pretty good. Tuesday (August 5) trip has about 17 reservations currently. Make sure to bring at least 20 pound test and trusted gear.
The Ultra had 21 dorado (to 25 pounds), 2 yellowtail (to 20 pounds), 1 albacore tuna (20 pounds), and 1 yellowfin tuna (25 pounds) for only 7 anglers fishing today.
The Ultra has a open party 1 1/2 day trip leaving Tuesday night at 9 pm fishing all day Weds (August 6). Limited to 9 anglers at $300. This trip should really do well. Currently 5 spots open.
The Aggressor has a open party overnight trip leaving tonight fishing Tuesday (August 5) with 2 spots open, fishing Weds (9 spots open), and fishing Thursday (8 spots open). Departs at 9pm limited to 18 anglers at $170 going offshore or island.
