Today we are checking kelps again on our trip home from San Benitos/Cedros Islands. There was great action on the yellows for the entire day yesterday and then we started up the line around 7 PM. Not much on the kelps so far today. We did get our trolling jackpot settled. We found a couple of stray yellowfin tuna this morning.

Good morning folks. Yesterday we had a slow morning with very little sign of tuna. Our yellowtail spot from last trip saved our day with 68 nice size yellows and then died at about 2:30 in the afternoon. Don't forget to bring some muscle when you fight these yellows. Good morning folks. Yesterday was our first day of fishing. We spent the day offshore and found great results on kelp paddy fishing. Seems to be more Dorado than yellows now but the action was definitely there. The typical kelp size fish with a few standouts throughout the day.
