The Pacific Dawn called with LIMITS (18) of Bluefin Tuna on the 1st day of a 2.5 day trip for 9 anglers. The fish are between 40 to 60 pounds.
The Condor called in 24 Bluefin tuna 30 to 70 pounds for their 1.5 day trip. They are still fishing.
The Shogun also reports LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna for yesterday 25-50 lbs.
The Pacific Queen returned this AM with LIMITS of Bluefin Tuna (68) 25-70lbs. and beautiful weather on their 1.5 day trip with 34 anglers.
Recommend gear for the Bluefin trip would be 60# and 80# pounds outfits. 2/0 to 4/0 size circle hooks. The Flatfall jigs are still working in the early morning and late evenings. The boats are still recommending the glowing the dark one and 200 gram or bigger.
