The Pegasus finished with 42 Yellowtail, 1 Skipjack and Limits of Rockfish (50) for their Fullday trip with 10 anglers.
The Pacific Queen called in with 65 Bluefin Tuna on their 1.5 day trip. Most of the Bluefin are 40-70 lbs., with 5 around 20 lbs. and a couple over 100 lbs.
The Liberty returned this AM with 39 Bluefin Tuna (20-70lbs), 49 Yellowfin Tuna (20-60lbs) for their 1.5 day trip with 23 anglers.
Recommend gear for the Bluefin trip would be 60# and 80# pounds outfits. 2/0 to 4/0 size circle hooks. The Flatfall jigs are still working in the early morning and late evenings. The boats are still recommending the glowing the dark one and 200 gram or bigger.
