Bass action was fair last week, with the majority of fish coming out 40' to 60' of water.  Drop shotting was the preferred method, although Texas rigs, and Carolina rigs also picked off a few fish.  Look to main lake points for an occasional 3lb to 4lb kicker.

Most of the bass seems to have retreated down to 40' or 50' of water, but have been willing biters.  Drop shotting main lake points with 4" worms was reported the best way to catch the deep fish.  Average size is about 1.5 lbs, but some anglers catching up to 20 Largemouth a day. ...... Read More

The bass bite has been fair in 40' to 50' on drop shot plastics, and Texas rigs.  Make sure to slow down your presentation to a crawl, and you should get results.  Some anglers reported as many as 15 fish a piece with this pattern. ...... Read More
