Loch Lomond had a few trout reported caught this week, though it is very slow. Bass fishing at the lake is also slow and steady, but the bluegills are biting well. Now is the time of year to travel to alpine or gold-country lakes for deep-water trout and kokanee, or the northern rivers for early salmon and steelhead action.
