Carp and Trout Fishing Excellent

The water temperature is 58-60 degrees, water level is dropping. The last trout plant of the season will be Match 27, 2019, 600 pounds. Heading into Catfish season starting in May.
Striper: Low Action: Stripers, at the inlet/dam area. Various types of bait have been used: Using cut Mackerels, shad, trout swim baits, spooks and chicken livers, top water lures and jigs.
Blue Gill: Low Action: Blue gills are over off the points, on meal worms and night crawlers.
Catfish: Low Action: Slow for cats, not much action this week.
Large Mouth: Medium Action: Try swim baits, purple and green robo worms, and night crawlers over around Launch Ramp 2 and off the points.
Trout: High Action: PowerBait has been working extremely well! The last Trout plant was March 13th, 2019, 600 pounds.
Carp: High Action: The hot spot for theses guys is across the marina. Use your favorite carp dough bait or try out new BaitPro Carp Power Bait, variety of flavors, strawberry, vanilla, pineapple.
