Excellent Fishing At Farallon Islands

Today the Sea Wolf fished the Farallon Islands with hardly a breeze, socked in fog, and a slight ground swell. The fishing today was excellent with jumbo yellowtail rockfish and a fairly steady bite of vermillion rockfish, Lingcod bite today was slow as we looked over stones from the main island to the North Islands. We ended our day with 310 rockfish and 12 lingcod for our 31 anglers. We’ll be out again tomorrow hoping for another day of good weather before this next front. We’ll be fishing the SF Bay Saturday and Sunday for stripers and halibut then back to the islands on Monday.

Update of the last 2 days. Yesterday 4/12/19 we changed our trip to a bay trolling trip. We ended the day with 19 limits of bass and 1 halibut. Today 4/13/19 we had 23 anglers and ended our day with 8 around on the rockfish and 18 lingcod. It was our first costal trip and the rockfish would not bite anything too big.
