The water temperature is between 68 degrees. Water flow is still doing great, Solar Cup is next weekend, May 17,18,19th. First stock of Catfish was May 10th.

Trout: No Action

Carp: No Action: not much action for carp lately.

Stripers: Slow Action: Stripers are being caught with umbrella rigs, with down riggings on about 40-50 feet of water and good old universal night crawlers.

Catfish: Medium Action: Next stock of Catfish will be May 24, still hitting over by ramp 2, using chicken livers, mackerel and anchovies.

Largemouth: Medium Action: Largemouth bass have been willing to bit top water spooks and poppers, flukes, jerk baits, and night crawlers.

Blue Gill: Slow Action: Little action this week using white and yellow jigs, wax worms and live crickets.

The water temperature is 67 degrees, and water level is continuously rising. Striper: Low Action: Stripers have still been hard to come by, with next to none being caught again this week. We suggest using chicken liver down at the inlet/dam area. Bluegill: Medium Action: Bluegills are beginning to clear beds all over the lake. Catfish season is here. First stock of Catfish will be on May 10. Bluegill: Medium Action: Mini jigs tipped with nightcrawlers or mealworms have still been working the best. Carp: No Action Reported Striper: Low Action: Any cut bait should work in theory although anglers have been struggling to pick off a few fish per day.
