The Pacific Queen called in 10 Bluefin Tuna (25# to 140#) on their 1.5 day.
The Tomahawk called in with 10 Bluefin Tuna (60# to 80#) with fish hanging on their 1.5 day.
The Condor called in with 8 Bluefin Tuna (50#-80#) for 37 anglers on their 1.5-day trip.
The Liberty called in with 9 Bluefin Tuna (3@50-70# 6@25-30#) on their Full Day Offshore trip.
The Dolphin called in from a 3/4 day Charter with 222 Rockfish and 12 Sculpin.
The Pegasus returned from their 1.5 day offshore trip with 22 Bluefin Tuna for 18 anglers.
May 31st, 2019
The Liberty finished with 5 Bluefin Tuna for their Full day trip with 15 anglers.
The Dolphin AM returned with 105 Rockfish, 15 Sculpin and 2 Sheephead for 13 anglers.
The Dolphin PM caught 22 Rockfish and 8 Sculpin for 17 anglers.
The Tomahawk finished with 9 Bluefin Tuna (60 to 80lbs.) on an Overnight trip. They also reported beautiful weather and great signs of fish.
The Pacific Queen returned this morning with 44 Bluefin Tuna (25 to 80 lbs) for 32 anglers.
The Condor returned this morning with LIMITS (24) of Bluefin Tuna for 12 anglers.
Recommended tackle for these Bluefin trips should include a 25# outfit for kelp patty Yellowtail, a 40# live bait setup with a 1/0 sized circle hook and fluorocarbon, a 50# sinkered bait outfit, and a 60 or 80# flatfall jig setup rigged with fluorocarbon! These past few days, the schools of fish these tuna boats are chasing down can range from 25lbs to well over 100lbs!
