Another weekly Trout plant has stimulated the activity around the Launch Ramp 2 coves. The Striped Bass have been hitting well- placed anchovies throughout the day. Catfish are still productive on chicken livers and stink bait, largemouth bass are ever- present int he reeds- with plastics being the best approach.

These are the following ratings:

Bass: Good with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Bluegill: Fair with an Average size of 1 pound.
Carp: Fair with an Average size of 6 pounds.
Catfish: Good with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Striper: Excellent with an Average size of 3 pounds.
Trout: Excellent with an Average size of 2 pounds.

Trout continue to provide the best action for boating and shore anglers. The striped bass are hitting best in the morning hours, with the larger specimens being pulled on simulated trout baits, Catfish are still good for the most patient anglers soaking stink bait. Another weekly trout plant has provided dependable activity for both shore and boating anglers, catfish still showing well for this late int eh season.
