Falling water temps have the bass scattered from 20’ to 60’ in the water column. But anglers are still managing some fish drop shotting, as well as other finesse techniques. There is still some bait up tight to the bank, but it seems that there are no fish on them. Catfish and panfish were absent from the count last week.

Most of the bass are moving a bit deeper now, and are scatted in 40’ to 60’ of water making for tougher than usual conditions. Drop shooting has been the most effective technique, with Texas rigs and jigs working for some as well. Panfish and Catfish went unreported last week. ...... Read More

The silversides have retreated to the shoreline, and there are a few bass up there with them. Flukes, and small swimsuits fished in the early morning have produced some decent results.
