Happy Holidays! The water temperature is 58-60 degrees. Last stock of Trout was December 18th, 2019.

Striper: Medium Action: Mini stripers being caught in great numbers at the dam and inlet on cut bait.. better quality fish a little bit reluctant to bite this week although they can be had if you make the right casts with a jerk bait or topwater lure.

Blue Gill: Low Action: Lots of small panfish can be seen throughout the lake with the larger gills being caught on minijigs in deeper water.

Catfish: Medium Action: A little slower for cats with the weather changing but your best bet is as usual, chicken liver or anchovies deployed near the inlet or Ramp 2

Trout: Lots of trout being caught on mini jigs in the areas surrounding Ramp 2.. some stringers filled by anglers using powerbait as well but jigging seems to be producing at a better rate..

Carp: No Action.

The water temperature is around 65 degrees. Next Stock of Trout will be December 18th, 2019, 600 pounds. Striper: Low-Medium Action: Striper action has still been a little slower this week. People have been getting a few on baits like Vision 110’s and other jerk baits.. Blue Gill: Low Action: Not many blue gills reported, although the lake is known for our large panfish.. Lake Skinner Marina hours are 6 a.m. – 4 p. m The water temperature is 66-67 degrees... Last Stock of Trout was December 4th from the county but on Friday the 6th we were surprised to see another trout truck pull up to plant some more through the state.. The next trout stock will be Wednesday December 8, 2019..
