Texas Fish Report

"Good morning folks," wrote skipper Andy Cates January 11. "Yesterday we got the anchor down at around 1100 and saw pretty good sign right away. We hooked one at a time until the afternoon and lost one at a time. In the evening we got a few more fish but really not all that great for what we saw. Biggest fish was 185. "We made a move and have had better luck on bigger fish with a 219 and a 209, another 180 and a 140-pounder for the morning. We are going to try this spot today and see if the ratio of bigger ones is better. We took 15 tuna and a couple of wahoo for our efforts yesterday.?Į We will report again tomorrow."
