Striped Bass: The cut bait/liver bite has seen a small uptick this week, the inlet is finally refilling the lake so that should become the hot spot once again. Some private boaters have reported a decent hard bait bite in the channel that runs across the point near the marina down to the East End.
Blue Gills: High Action for Blue Gill using mealworms or crickets. A minijig tipped with some meat can be an extremely productive method.
Catfish: Catfish bite has definitely slowed although you can expect it to pick up as the weather continues to warm the water.
Largemouth Bass: Largemouth bass bite has been pretty steady. The water level has dropped significantly so you will need to explore new territory.
Trout : Stockings are back to regular scheduled dates, being every other week. For best results try to come target trout as soon as possible after a delivery of fresh fish. Use powerbait or minijigs. Next Trout Stock is February 19th, 2020.
